We are passionate that only the freshest flowers and purest ingredients go into our elderflower cordial. The elderflowers we use are hand-picked on dry days when the petals are open and fragrant. They are infused and blended with sugar and freshly-cut lemons. The cordial is then filtered, bottled, gently pasteurised and packaged for distribution.
Our cordial is made from pure, natural ingredients without any concentrate or artificial sweeteners, flavourings, additives,
colourings, or sulphites. We manage the trees without using herbicides or pesticides.
Elderflowers have traditionally been associated with cold and flu remedies. We haven’t explored the scientific evidence for this so we make no claims for Richmount Elderflower Cordial’s medicinal value. However, it is a natural refreshing drink, sustainably harvested and produced with minimum processing. Elderberries are packed with Vitamin C. Our Elderberry cordial is made from our own pressed elderberries, sweetened with sugar, infused with fresh oranges, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg. Dilute to taste. Delicious served hot or added to port.
