2015 News
2nd to 5th November 2015 - We were part of the Good Food Ireland food producers' team that catered for the international delegates to the Web Summit in Dublin. Our elderflower cordial was very well received, comments like "really special" and "gorgeous" - by the third day we were told it was "legendary"! Many bottles bought and brought home to far-flung destinations.
July 2015 - Karina Charles and her cameraman from Irish TV (Channel 191) spent a few hours with us. They were interested in our story, our awards and our plans for the future. The programme can be seen on Episode 54 on the Irish TV website.
On 1st July 2015, we moved in to our new processing unit and a television crew from the popular farming programme Ear to the Ground spent a day filming with us. They filmed the elderflower cordial making process as presenter, Ella McSweeney, talked through each stage with us. The programme was screened in September 2015.
May / June 2015 - We took the plunge, raided the piggy-banks, and built a new processing unit. This was meant to be a straight-forward renovation but, like all building projects, there was absolutely nothing straight-forward about it. Regulations and compliance issues kept cropping up and costs kept climbing. Still it's done now and we've lots of work lined up for the unit and at least we now have space to work in comfort.
